[Hilbert and his pair of Pokémon (a hasty little Patrat and chill Munna), had just won their first Gym Battle! It was exhausting. Well, half of the exhausting was that they couldn't decide which one he was gonna fight............. Normal-type and Psychic-type didn't fit neatly into their triangle! Ugh, and to make it worse they kept talking about how Cheren, Bianca, and Sis' battles were great!]

[He had half a mind to set out to the next town already but- he was determined to enjoy his complimentary hot cocoa for winners. Not like he- really enjoyed it! Just, it was his, so of course he'd drink it. That's all. ... Y-yeah, it's good, ok.]

[... he quietly hopes his sis is keeping warm too. Because clearly she's off at the next city or something and wouldn't keep track of her brother right???...........]

[ Of course she's not keeping warm! But that's what Pansears are for, right? To keep trainers warm while they run around in short shorts and tank tops.

Cheren and Bianca are well on their way to the next town, but Hilda decided to stay behind for a little while longer. It's not every day Hilbert has his first Gym Battle, after all! She even watched for a bit from the shadows but once her battle was mentioned she quietly made her exit from the gym.

It's not her intention to startle him, but... ] Hilbert! Hey, Hilbert!! [ ...yeah. She calls to him and waves her arms to grab his attention, but if he isn't heading toward her in a matter of seconds then she will jog on over. ]

[Startling someone drinking a hot drink is a great idea! He manages to keep his drink in his cup, only mildly burning his lip.]

S-Sis! [What is she-] Wh- what are you doing here?! [Oh, whoops, yelling across the gap is attracting a lot of attention- ok, ok, ok, he'll go over to her!]

[ Just as planned. ...except not the lip burning, but.

At least she knows that tackling someone with a hot drink is a bad idea, so once he's close enough Hilda starts fussing with Hilbert's hat. Tugging on it, making sure it's straight and secure before-- ] I stuck around to watch you battle! [ big sis the creeper...? ] But I didn't see the whole thing.

[ And now, pointing to the hot cocoa in his hands. ] You won?

[GEEZ SIS, HIS HAT IS FINE.]

Of course I did! Wh- what were you watching for? Did you think I wouldn't?

[ She shakes her head. Nope, that's not the case at all! ] I just wanted to!

[ .......................yep. ] It's fun watching you battle!

Don't you have your own stuff to be doing? With Cheren and Bianca? [He's calmed down a bit, at least. He takes a sullen little sip of hot cocoa.]
